Spend your money wisely

Compliance is a necessary requirement by the MAS. That does not mean you have to spend a bomb on it.

Let's work smart and explore our solutions below.

We provide ad-hoc advisory, ongoing monthly retainers, and licensing application service.

Two levels of involvement.

Choose the right type of service tier that you need for your firm. Don't worry, even if you start with our basic plan, this can be adjusted accordingly.

Standard Compliance Advisory

We provide ongoing regulatory compliance advisory and practical support to keep your compliance obligations monitored, up to date and on track. We help you stay ahead of key deadlines and flag emerging issues early, so you can act before they become bigger problems.

S$1,000 / month

No separate onboarding fee.

What the advisory includes

  • Monthly compliance calls to check progress and address your questions
  • Compliance advisory support for your firm’s questions, including ambiguous or higher-risk matters*
  • A practical checklist to help your team track applicable compliance obligations
  • Practical recommendations and follow-up points on questions raised between calls

Your team remains responsible for day-to-day compliance

The service does not include a full KYC review of every customer. Your firm continues its regular compliance operations and customer reviews, while using Advisors Assemble for practical help and a second view when questions arise.

Discuss this scope

* A separate fee applies for preparing Form 11, where applicable, for significant MAS approvals relating to director or CEO appointments or changes.

Licence Application Support

Practical preparation and application support for firms seeking a Singapore fund management licence, with the LFMC pathway and scope assessed before work begins.

S$15,000 / application

Free pre-consultation

A pre-consultation with Advisors Assemble is free of charge. We assess your initial suitability for an LFMC licence and flag potential requirements or gaps before you commit time and fees, helping you avoid discovering a fundamental eligibility issue halfway through the application. This is a preliminary assessment, not a guarantee of MAS approval.

Our fee-refund assurance

If your application is rejected by MAS, withdrawn or abandoned because of genuinely unforeseen reasons, AA will refund 50% of the S$15,000 application-support fee (S$7,500), no questions asked. The refund applies to AA’s fee only, not fees payable to MAS. This is a fee-refund promise, not a guarantee of licence approval.

How responsibilities are divided

Advisors Assemble

  • Initial suitability assessment and preparation checklist
  • Agreed application, policy and supporting-document work
  • Preparation support for agreed MAS queries and potential blockers

Your firm

  • Establish the real business, people and arrangements
  • Provide complete and accurate evidence
  • Approve and submit every representation
External charges
The S$15,000 fee covers AA’s application support only. Licensing and application fees payable to MAS are separate and are not included. Legal, corporate, technology and other third-party charges are also separate unless expressly agreed.
Outside scope
Guaranteeing MAS authorisation or timing; Inventing experience, personnel or operational evidence; Legal, tax, fund-formation or capital-raising work.
Changed requirements
Changes to the business plan or work outside the agreed application scope are discussed and agreed separately.

Internal Audit

A practical, professional and independent review of selected controls, with a clear scope agreed around your business.

S$4,800 / project

Flat fee covering up to two agreed audit scopes.

Discuss your audit scope

Choose up to two scopes

  • Business continuity management
  • Anti-money laundering and customer onboarding
  • Internal risk and compliance controls
  • Technology risk management
  • Outsourcing and third-party risk management

What the audit includes

  • Review the agreed documents and evidence for up to two selected scopes
  • Assess the relevant controls against the applicable requirements and expectations
  • Provide findings and practical recommendations

Independent from compliance advisory

The audit is conducted professionally and independently. If you engage Advisors Assemble for internal audit, we cannot also be your compliance adviser at the same time.

A clear and proportionate process

Throughout the audit, we keep you informed about the documents we need and the applicable MAS Notices and Guidelines behind the standards and expectations we assess. Our approach is risk-based and proportionate to the agreed scopes, not an overbearing exercise to turn over every stone. Material issues identified during the review will still be raised clearly.

For smaller licensed firms with lean teams, we tailor audit sampling and the depth of review to the firm’s size, activities and risks. We recognise that processes may need to be streamlined when headcount is limited. Within the agreed scopes, we focus on material risks and whether the controls work in practice, rather than mechanically checking every clause.

Planning your next audit

We generally recommend an internal audit once every two years for licensed companies. This is AA’s recommendation, not a universal MAS requirement. Your applicable requirements, risk profile and previous findings may call for more frequent audits.
